Hey, T.J., I was wondering (sorry if this is too awkward)...what would you say to Spinelli if she told you that she loved you?
How did you and your friends form "The Recess Gang?"
(Sorry for not replying in a while. Our computer broke, and we had to buy a new one. Becky wouldn't let me use hers)
We were in kindergarten, and I met Gretchen, Vince, Mikey, and Spinelli at Ol' Rusty. We weren't really "friends" yet, though, as Mikey would always take everyone's stuff (or so we thought), and Vince was the only one I was really pals with. Believe it or not, but I was really shy back then. Then in the middle of kindergarten, Gus moved to town, and he befriended me. He also gave me my nickname! Anyway, he showed us that Randall was actually using Mikey just to give him more power over us, and he apoligized. Gus also showed us how to actually act more like kindergarteners, so we went from quiet and polite to wild and crazy. But after Randall told Miss Finster (she used to be our kindergarten teacher!) about what we were doing, she sent Gus to Principal Prickly's office, and I decided to save him. Vince, Gretchen, Mikey, and Spinelli decided to join me, and we started our first big plan to save him. Once we got him out, I realized that I had made the best friends a kid could ask for. Unfortunatly, Gus moved after that day, but at least he came back!
